ef - 3Com Fast EtherLink ISA (3c515) driver

     ef* at isapnp?

The ef device driver supports the 3Com Fast EtherLink ISA family of Eth-
ernet cards, and embedded controllers based on the 3Com "corkscrew" Eth-
erLink chips. This includes the 3C515 adapter(s) with National Semicon-
ductor DP83840 PHYs, see nsphy(4). Other models of 3Com network cards are
     supported by the ec(4), eg(4), el(4), ep(4), ie(4) and xl(4) drivers.

For more information on configuring this device, see ifconfig(8).

ef%d: adapter failure (%x) A fatal error during receive or transmit has

ef%d: eeprom failed to come ready When reading/writing the EEPROM, the
busy bit failed to clear. This may indicate a hardware problem.

ef%d: device timeout The device has stopped responding to the network,
or there is a problem with the network connection (cable).
